1. Data we collect

SplitSnap does not require registration or an account. We collect no personal data beyond what you voluntarily enter (such as your name for splitting bills).

2. Receipt images

Receipt photos are sent to Claude AI (Anthropic) for text recognition and are immediately deleted after processing. We do not store, retain, or share receipt images.

3. Session data

QR session data (items, amounts, confirmations) is stored temporarily in our database and automatically deleted after 2 hours.

4. Local storage

Bill history, groups, debts and app settings are stored locally on your device only. We have no access to this data.

5. Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking services.

6. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed securely by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not store or have access to your payment information.

7. Children's privacy

SplitSnap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes through the app.
